OUR
STORY

Inspired by the determination of New York artists creating their own companies and presenting new work, Andrew's dream of founding a modern ballet ensemble in the UK was ignited.

The New York Inspiration

McNicol Ballet Collective, formally established as a charity, benefits from a founding board that lays a strong foundation for continuous growth.

The first commissioned dance film, "Of Silence," wins multiple awards and is showcased at dance film festivals internationally.

Plans for the first stage show, "From Life," are thwarted by the onset of COVID-19, leading to a period of mourning and resilience.

McNicol Ballet Collective rebounds by presenting "Awakenings" to critical acclaim, alongside award-winning commissioned dance films.
